‘Be Friends’ With Alice Ivy’s National Tour

Crowed by AAA Backstage as one of the best beat makers in recent years, Alice Ivy is sweeping the national with her joyously vivid good vibes and intricate dance education. Taking her incredible Be Friends single on the road, Alice Ivy has also released a great video for the single.

Filmed at The Plot festival, Be Friends is, in concept, simple but so damn relatable. We’ve all been there, trying to find your friends at a festival—Alice Ivy recreates that to a tee with the help from E^ST. Along their path, they run into famous Australian music cameos such as Northeast Party House, Saatsuma, Lanks and more.

In more news, Alice Ivy is also happy to announce her debut album, ‘I’m Dreaming’—to be released 9 February via Dew Process. The album will feature such guest stars as Caseux O.S.L.O, Tim De Cotta, Georgia Van Etten, E^ST and more. Self-produced and almost entirely recorded at home, DIY-style, Alice Ivy’s first full body of work is set to be an eclectic and mighty funky release.

2017 has been a busy one for Alice Ivy. Along with the booming success of Be Friends, she also lended her talents to an incredible remix of Lakyn’s Westa chopped-up, sample-happy remix of a RnB-inspired track, now turned into an almost footwork reinterpretation. She also joined the national Listen Out circuit back in September.

Alice Ivy will be touching all corners of Australia next year—so there’s no excuse not to witness her majesty behind the desks. See her full tour below and watch the amazing Be Friends video, too.
