Sugar Mountain Loses An Act, Gains Another

With only seven weeks from the big day, Sugar Mountain has just one more announcement. There’s been a small lineup shake up with Australian hip-hop purveyors, and recent ARIA sweeps, A.B. Original will be stepping for J Hus who’s cancelled his full tour.

Made up for Briggs and Trails, the duo’s debut album, ‘Reclaim Australia’ made waves through the industry for its outspoken dialogue on Indigenous culture’s representation in the modern political climate. Reaching #1 on the Australia iTunes Charts upon release, ‘Reclaim Australia’ was also awarded the prestigious Australian Music Prize (AMP) and triple j’s Album of the Year.

With A.B. Original turning up to the party, Sugar Mountain is also sad to report the drop out of UK rapper, J Hus. In a statement, he wrote:

“I’m truly disappointed that I won’t be able to appear at Sugar Mountain due to circumstances out of my control. Big thanks to all my Australian fans for their love and support… will be working hard to reschedule dates as soon as possible.”
