Attain Enlightenment With Sacred Shrines’ Dirty New Single

Brisbane 5-piece Sacred Shrines’ latest single Collisions is a ferocious psychedelic trip that fits right in with the garage psych you might expect from King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard or The Murlocs.

Starting with the roar of crunchy guitars and swaying drums, Collisions kicks off alongside a classic organ synthesizer melody that sets the scene for energetic vocals. Carrying an air of Arctic Monkeys, the crooning vocals are the least chaotic element of the song.

Sacred Temples have stayed away from the lo-fi production path taken by so many garage psych bands,   giving their sound a sense of openness that shines through on the chorus. Finally, the song wraps up to the tune of a fuzzy guitar solo – dirty, unrestrained, and full of youthful energy.

Collisions is a taste of Sacred Shrines’ upcoming debut album ‘Come Down From The Mountain’, due for release on Thursday 21st of July.
