Tkay Maidza, DZ Deathrays, Harts + More Lead Final BIGSOUND Lineup

Australia’s premiere music conference and industry festival BIGSOUND has managed to out do themselves once again, announcing even more artists to the already packed bill of performers and conference speakers. Now delivering a staggering 150 artists to 15 venues over 3 jam-packed nights, you’d be crazy to miss an opportunity like this!

Leading this second announcement is Adelaide artist Tkay Maidza, Brisbane rock-duo DZ Deathrays, funk-lord Harts along with I Heart Hiroshima, Vera Blue, Kučka, Japanese Wallpaper, Rainbow Chan, The Belligerents, The Gooch Palms and many, many more. This comes on top of the original artist lineup consisting of Alex Lahey, Sampa the Great, Tigertown, Tash Sultana, MOSSY, Olympia, Bec Sandridge, Ivan Ooze, and Good Boy just to name a few.

This second artist drop comes soon after the industry speakers lineup had its own huge expansion, adding head-turning names such as Kim Gordon, Peanut Butter Wolf (Stones Throw Records), Jen Cloher (Milk! Records), and more!

BIGSOUND takes place across Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley live music precinct, converting the whole inner city suburb into one huge venue, explained by the event’s producer and QMusic Executive Officer Joel Edmonson as a “treasure hunt for the best new music Australia has to offer”.

“It’s hard to explain what the BIGSOUND experience is like because there’s nothing else like it in the country,” Edmonson added.
